Counseling Therapy
I am freely entering into counseling therapy with Richard Chandler, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Minnesota, or Bonnett Chandler, MA, LPCC, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. We cannot work with you for counseling therapy unless you are a Minnesota resident.

Consulting
In addition to counseling therapy, Richard Chandler, MA, also does online consulting throughout the USA. Consulting includes but is not limited to executive coaching, business partners counseling, Myers-Briggs and AQai Adaptability consulting. It may be done for clients from all 50 states and Canada.

Career Coaching
Richard Chandler, MA, does career coaching throughout the USA and Canada.

If you are from another country, please let Richard Chandler, MA, know, as we need to first investigate if there are other criteria that applies to consulting from your country.

Confidentiality & Client Records
Client records including intake forms and session notes are stored within the HIPAA-compliant Counsol.com practice management system. A copy of session notes are also stored in both Bonnett Chandler's laptop computer and in Richard Chandler's laptop computer, which are password protected and backed up in encrypted flash drives.

I understand that all of my information, including intake forms, my record of appointments, any psychological assessments, treatment notes, and whatever I say within my counseling, coaching or consulting sessions are private and confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without my written authorization, other than the exceptions to confidentiality shown below.

Richard Chandler and Bonnett Chandler are not part of any insurance or government networks. Bonnett Chandler's LPCC license permits her to do counseling therapy in Minnesota only. Richard Chandler's LPC license permits him to do counseling therapy in Minnesota only. Consulting may be done throughout the USA and any other counties that do not restrict consulting from a USA consultant.

To protect your confidentiality, should you see Bonnett Chandler or Richard Chander while in public, they will not speak to or acknowledge you unless you speak them first.

Exceptions to Confidentiality:
In compliance with the laws of the state of Minnesota, Bonnett Chandler and Richard Chandler are mandated reporters, meaning that they are required to release and disclose your confidential information to law enforcement, medical providers, and in some cases, to your relatives, if they believe there is substantial risk of harm to yourself, or to another person.

Richard Chandler and Bonnett Chandler must also disclose your records, or testify in court, if ordered to do so by court-ordered subpoena.

Richard Chandler and Bonnett Chandler are required to report incidents of actual or suspected abuse, and/or maltreatment of children, and/or vulnerable adults, to county social service agencies, law enforcement or MN state agencies.

Your case may be discussed within Bonnett Chandler's and Richard Chandler's peer consultation group, (which consists of one other practitioner at this time). No names or other information that could identify you will be disclosed when discussing your case. Additionally, on the extremely rare possibility that the peer consulting group member already knows you, that person(s) is also required to maintain confidentiality to comply with their obligations under his or her mental health license. 

Client Communications
Scheduling may be done within the client portal system, by telephone, (but not voicemail), email or text.

Communication of a counseling nature is intended to be done within your counseling or consulting session, rather than by text, email or voicemail, so Richard Chandler and Bonnett Chandler may respond clearly, professionally and maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.

Voicemails, emails and texts are checked two times during regular office hours, Monday - Friday, (not evenings or weekends). Please do not use voicemail, email or text in a crisis situation. Instead, immediately dial 911 or call mental health hotlines. A list of hotlines in on our website's resources page.

$75,000 - $99,999     = $135.00
$100,000 - $149,999 = $155.00
$150,000 - $199,999 = $175.00

Couples Counseling & Career Coaching with Richard Chandler, MA, LPC

Less Than $150,000 = $155.00
$150,000 - $199,999 = $175.00
$200,000 - $249,999 = $200.00

Consulting Rates, Including Executive Coaching & Business Partners' Counseling
Consulting rates are project-based and typically have a timeline, a specified number of sessions, unlimited email support, several assessments, and much more flexible access to Richard Chandler, MA. Those rates will be disclosed and discussed as part of the consulting onboarding process.

Teletherapy Sessions & Online Consulting Meetings
Online sessions and consulting meetings are done on the HIPAA-compliant Counsol.com platform or the HIPAA-compliant Psychology Today platform. The Zoom platform is also used as a back-up for teletherapy and for consulting meetings.

Telephone sessions and consulting meetings may be done if you prefer, or when online teletherapy is not working properly due to a technical issue or a poor internet connection. In-person therapy is not available.

To ensure confidentiality, you understand and agree that video or audio recording of sessions are not permitted by Bonnett Chandler, MA, LPCC, or by Richard Chandler, MA, LPC.

Notice of Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling
We do our best to keep scheduled appointments and provide as much advance notice as possible. Our client portal system provides a 24-hour and a 2-hour automated notice for all appointments. If you cancel appointments with less than 24 hours of notice more than once, Richard Chandler or Bonnett Chandler may restrict you from scheduling sessions in advance. You can check their schedule on the day that you want a session to schedule a time for that day only.

Payments are Made Through Credit Card Only
My credit card information entered through the Counsol.com system will be stored, and credit card transactions processed by CardConnect, a major credit card processor. Neither Counsol.com, Bonnett Chandler, or Richard Chandler have access to your credit card information.

The Counsol.com system client portal system automatically generates an invoice at the time of making your appointment through Richard and Bonnett Chandler's Client Portal. You agree to authorize payment for your session at the time of your session.

Voicing Your Questions or Concerns
Richard Chandler and Bonnett Chandler will do their best to address my questions or concerns during my counseling/consulting sessions. You agree to voice your questions or concerns without hesitation so they may be discussed and addressed.
